Jelly Roll & Bunnie Xo Go to Prom for the First Time Ever, Thanks to 17-Year-Old Daughter: ‘She Crowned Us King & Queen’
In a heartwarming display of love and family connection, country star Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, recently attended a dance organized by Jelly’s 17-year-old daughter, Bailee. The event, which doubled as a prom and a birthday celebration for Jelly, was a touching reminder of the importance of making memories as a family. Bunnie shared a delightful video on social media, capturing the couple dressed to the nines, complete with crowns as they slow-danced together. Reflecting on the experience, Bunnie emphasized a valuable lesson she learned as a parent: “Time is the most precious thing we own. Spend it on your people. The memories you make with them will outlive everything else.” This sentiment resonates deeply, especially as the couple encourages Bailee to embrace experiences they missed during their own youth.
The dance, themed “Under the Stars,” was a surprise for Jelly and Bunnie, who were taken aback by the effort Bailee put into creating a memorable evening for them. Bunnie recounted how Bailee had always been reluctant to participate in school dances, which made the event even more special. The couple, who have been open about their past struggles, including Jelly’s journey to gaining full custody of Bailee, showcased a united front as they celebrated not only Jelly’s 41st birthday but also the love and support that binds their family together. Bunnie, adorned in a stunning floral gown, and Jelly, sporting a classic black ensemble and cowboy hat, looked every bit the royal couple as they danced and celebrated their unique family bond.
This event highlights the transformative power of love and commitment in a blended family. Jelly Roll, who has openly discussed his past challenges—including time spent in jail—has credited Bunnie as a crucial part of his journey toward stability and parental responsibility. Their story serves as a beacon of hope for many, illustrating how love can help overcome adversity and create a nurturing environment for children. As they continue to navigate the complexities of family life, Jelly and Bunnie’s experience serves as a reminder that it’s never too late to create cherished memories and celebrate life’s milestones, proving that family is at the heart of everything they do.

Go have the experiences we missed.’”

Bunnie went on to say that Bailee didn’t tell them what she had in store for the evening, which went down the night before Jelly’s 41st birthday. “What we walked into stopped us in our tracks — a full room of friends and family … a night she called ‘Under the Stars,’” Bunnie wrote. “A prom/birthday party she created for us. She crowned us King and Queen, and we danced and sang like teenagers who finally got their moment.”
“And the lesson?” the influencer added. “Time is the most precious thing we own. Spend it on your people. The memories you make with them will outlive everything else.”

“To the man I worship & admire..,” Bunnie wrote. “Loving you in all your eras is my favorite thing to do. Happy Birthday my shooting star, I love love love youuuuu.”
Jelly has two children from previous relationships: Bailee and her younger brother Noah. When Bailee was a kid, her father and stepmother were granted full custody over her, with Jelly — who had to prove his parenting capabilities to the court after spending time in jail — calling Bunnie a “beacon of change” in his 2023

cover story.
“You’re talking about a woman that came in and took a child that was soon to be born and a child that [we were] soon to have full custody of,” Jelly said at the time. “I would have never got custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the money.”
