Howie Carr: Healey’s ambition a bill taxpayers had to pick up
In a scathing critique of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey’s handling of migrant issues, recent revelations from a Congressional investigation have shed light on her administration’s controversial spending and management decisions. Amidst a backdrop of rising crime and social unrest in the state, Healey reportedly allocated nearly $4 billion in taxpayer funds to support housing for migrants, including a staggering $779,000 specifically for accommodating individuals at Logan Airport. This decision has drawn criticism not only for its financial implications but also for the perceived prioritization of political ambitions over the welfare of Massachusetts residents. Healey’s attempts to align herself with the Biden administration, in hopes of securing a cabinet position, have led to what some are calling a reckless approach to governance.
The investigation highlights the chaotic influx of migrants at Logan Airport, where state police were reportedly tasked with delivering pizzas to newly arrived individuals in Terminal E, raising eyebrows about the management of resources and public safety. The report details alarming incidents of crime associated with the migrant population, including sexual assaults, drug use, and gang violence, which have surged in areas designated for migrant housing. Critics argue that Healey’s administration has failed to adequately address these issues, instead opting to appease federal demands while neglecting the safety and concerns of local residents. Furthermore, the use of FEMA funds to support these initiatives has sparked outrage, suggesting a misallocation of resources that could be better utilized for disaster relief efforts.
As the situation continues to unfold, questions linger about the long-term consequences of Healey’s policies and the broader implications for Massachusetts as a one-party state. The political fallout from these decisions may have lasting effects on public trust and the state’s ability to manage its resources effectively. With rising tensions and public dissatisfaction, the narrative surrounding Healey’s administration serves as a cautionary tale about the potential pitfalls of prioritizing political aspirations over responsible governance. As Massachusetts grapples with these challenges, residents are left to ponder the effectiveness of their leadership and the future of their state amidst ongoing turmoil.
Gov. Maura Healey was willing to do anything, absolutely anything, to ingratiate herself enough with the Biden kleptocracy to assure herself a 2025 ticket out of the crumbling Commonwealth and into a cabinet role as the first lesbian blah-blah-blah….
It was not to be, thank God, but Hold-It Healey’s failure was not for a lack of trying.
She squandered close to $4 billion in taxpayer funds on her foreign freeloader flophouses, but that wasn’t all.
We now learn – thanks to a
Congressional investigation
– that she blew at least another $779,000 on putting up more hordes of invaders from the Third World at Logan Airport in 2023.
If Biden’s puppet-masters said, “Jump!” she said, “How high!”
Anything to get a free ride to Washington out of the catastrophe she’d created here in Massachusetts.
Remember how in 2023 when swarms of these surly, entitled freeloaders suddenly materialized – in Terminal E, of all places. The international terminal. They just… arrived, and suddenly, the State Police’s F Troop was delivering pizzas to them.
Probably from Santarpio’s.
The Haitian criminals vacationing amongst us always insist on the best, free of charge, whether it’s same-day dry cleaning or black Ubers as they flee out of the county one step ahead of the posse.
And now what everyone suspected about the Haitians’ Logan squat-fest of 2023 is confirmed.
On Oct. 6, 2023, a Democrat hack at the Federal Aviation Administration wrote to Massport:
“We have received a request from the WH to determine if there are available facilities on airport or surrounding areas… This is an immediate ask so please prioritize the effort.”
To which a different DOT staffer responded: “Yikes, this is definitely Fox News fodder in the making.”
Yes, it was. And it was Fox News, not regime-controlled media in Boston, that had the scoop Tuesday. Thank goodness for Fox News and the Daily Mail – when the news breaks in Boston, they fix it, not the locals.
According to the Senate report, Massport spent $779,000 on “security, transportation and cleaning.”
Remember, this was in 2023. The Healey hotels were overflowing. Celebrations of diversity were erupting across the state — rapes in Kingston, incestuous underage pregnancies in Marlboro, a motel torched in Sutton, AR-15-toting fentanyl dealers in Revere….
A couple of months before Biden began dumping more Haitians into Logan, Healey and her plus-sized lieutenant governor, Kim Driscoll, had assembled their Democrat fluffers in the media. The hacks asked their 1,584,403 virtue-signaling voters to take in a few of the vacationing savages on the lam from the law in their primitive homelands.
Driscoll suggested to the Beautiful People that if they had an unused “in-law” suite in their suburban mansions, maybe they should turn it into an outlaw suite (although she didn’t put it in quite those words).
As clueless as Massachusetts Democrats are, none were demented enough to open their homes to “families” of freeloading cholos. When the phones didn’t ring, Maura and Kim knew it was their TDS-ravaged voters.
Meanwhile, crime raged out of control in the flophouses. We have the “incident reports” from 2022 to 2024 to prove it.
Here’s a tiny sampling from the 955 pages of crime in 2023, the year Logan Airport became Flophouse #71:
Page 25: sexual assaults… page 45: drug use and unregistered guns…. page 139: gunshots outside of Healey hotel… page 141: drug use… page 155: gang violence… page 226: physical assault, gun used as threat….
And so on.
Even the Democrat hacks at Massport understood the insanity of dumping hundreds more of these thugs into one of the few functioning hubs of commercial activity left in New England.
“We are not designed or resourced to manage the intake of migrant populations,” Massport complained. “This would create a host of unintended safety and security consequences.”
Amazing! Somebody in Massachusetts state government noticed that there was a problem. But Maura was desperate to ingratiate herself to the comrades in what she assumed would be a second Biden administration.
She and her new, younger gal pal with the $400,000 lawfare job could have moved back closer to where Maura actually comes from, which is Maryland.
So Logan was forced to take at least 352 of the all-expenses-paid vacationers from the Third World. But where did the money come from to pay for everything above that $792,000 – including the nightly free-pizza deliveries?
We don’t know the answer – there’s more government transparency these days in Mogadishu and Pyongyang than in Boston. But after the story broke on Fox Tuesday, a whistleblower called in to my radio show. He said troopers had told him that Maura’s hacks were dipping into FEMA funds for the Haitians’ world-class dining experiences in Terminal E.
That would make sense. FEMA is the same agency that under Biden had a policy of refusing to help hurricane victims in the Southeast who had Trump signs outside their wrecked homes. That’s the Democrat plan: Make Americans Last Again.
Another interesting part of this latest Biden-Healey scandal is that all these shiftless illegals were funneled into airports in states like Massachusetts, Illinois and New York.
None were dumped into, say, Texas, Florida or Georgia, all of which have much larger airports than Logan. But those states also have Republican governors, who would have raised holy hell if their constituents had been menaced by these roving mobs of mendicants.
Maura didn’t care. She never does. Whether it’s blocking desperately needed natural-gas pipelines, or taking a billion-dollar haircut on a contract to pay off her Democrat fat cats, she always has her priorities in order.
What’s hers is hers, and what’s yours is hers. She gave the Haitians the shirt off… your back, not hers. And she’d do it again, if she had the opportunity to get herself a new job out of the disaster that she’s created here, there and everywhere, even at Terminal E.
Again, the question must be asked: How’s this one-party state working out for you?
