Kindle deals are live for Cyber Monday: Get Kindles starting at $79.99 while you still can

By Eric December 1, 2025

As Cyber Monday draws to a close, Amazon is offering an impressive array of Kindle deals that are hard to resist. This annual shopping event is one of the best times of the year to snag a Kindle, as discounts on these popular e-readers are rare outside of major sales like Prime Day and Black Friday. Currently, the standout offer is on the Kindle Colorsoft, now priced at $169.99, down from $249.99, saving customers a remarkable $80. This model boasts a full-color display, making it perfect for enjoying graphic novels and vibrant book covers, along with features like waterproofing, adjustable warmth, and an impressive battery life of up to eight weeks. For budget-conscious readers, the basic Kindle is also available at a record-low price of $79.99, providing a solid entry point into the world of e-reading.

In addition to the Kindle Colorsoft and the basic Kindle, the Kindle Paperwhite is also on sale for $124.99, down from $159.99, saving shoppers $35. This model is well-regarded for its high-resolution display and built-in light, making it ideal for reading in various lighting conditions. Furthermore, the Kindle Scribe, which features a 64GB storage option, is available for $309.99, offering a $140 discount from its original price. Beyond the Kindle devices, Amazon is also featuring a range of accessories, including remote page turners and gooseneck stands, that enhance the reading experience. For instance, the Datafy Remote Control Page Turner, priced at $15.19, allows readers to turn pages without lifting a finger, perfect for cozy evenings spent reading.

Additionally, Cyber Monday brings not only discounts on devices but also fantastic deals on Kindle books, with many titles available for under $3. This includes bestselling novels and award-winning titles, making it an excellent opportunity for readers to expand their digital libraries at a fraction of the cost. With the clock ticking on these deals, now is the perfect time to invest in a Kindle or to stock up on accessories and books before the holiday season. Whether you’re a seasoned e-reader or new to the digital reading scene, these Cyber Monday offers are not to be missed.

Last call on Kindles! Now that it’s
Cyber Monday
, there’s one last day to shop all the best deals before the holidays. Amazon kicked off its
Cyber Monday
sale over the weekend, and luckily, its entire lineup is still at the lowest prices ever.
The thing with Kindles is that they rarely go on sale. Sure, there’s the occasional random discount throughout the year, but the best guaranteed price is almost always going to be during Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Week. And take it from me, I know Kindle prices. It’s part of my job to test the
best Kindles
and
e-readers
, but outside of work hours, you’ll still find me and my Kindle attached at the hip.
After combing through the
latest Cyber Monday deals
, I’m happy to report that the
Kindle Colorsoft
is now down to $169.99, while the
basic Kindle
is still at its record-low price of $79.99. So, if you’ve been waiting to buy a Kindle, now’s the time. And don’t wait to buy, today is Cyber Monday so there’s no guarantee prices will be here tomorrow. Here are the best Cyber Monday deals on Kindles, plus discounts on books and my favorite
Kindle accessories
.

Why we like it
I didn’t know what to expect from Amazon’s Black Friday Kindle Deals, but I was blown away this year. Every device dropped to its lowest price ever, and there are some major standouts. The Kindle e-reader with the best discount is the
Kindle Colorsoft
. It’s down to $169.99, saving an astounding $80 off its $249.99 price tag. While I wouldn’t recommend buying the device at full price, I think it’s an exceptional deal to snag on Cyber Monday.
The Colorsoft has all the perks of a Paperwhite; it’s waterproof, has adjustable warmth and brightness, and has an extremely long battery life of eight weeks. But the bonus? It has full color displays so you can enjoy graphic novels and book covers in full detail.
However, if you’re not into the Colorsoft, there are plenty of other stellar deals to shop, including the basic Kindle down to its lowest price ever.

Why we like it
Yeah, we’re mostly talking about Kindle deals here, but what if you want to explore the e-reader horizons? Another e-reader to shop is the
Kobo Libra Colour
, now on sale for $199.99. That knocks 13% off the e-reader, bringing it under $200 and $30 off. It’s our favorite
color e-reader
, and possesses features you can’t find in a Kindle, like an internal gyroscope and page-turning buttons. Plus, if you really hate Amazon, it’s a guarantee that you can still find a fantastic e-reader, one that’s even better when it’s on sale.

Why we like it
I let the TikTok girlies convince me that I needed a remote control page turner and… they were right. This page turner works by gently tapping the screen of your Kindle when you click on the remote. Paired with a gooseneck stand, it’s created the coziest possible setup so I can keep my hands warm under the blankets but still get to the next page in my book. I don’t usually like recommending products from random Amazon brands, but the Datafy remote control page turner has worked great for me over the past few months. Ahead of Cyber Monday, it’s still just $15.99 — that’s $4.80 off its $19.99 price tag.

Why we like it
If you want to use your remote control page turner, then you’ll need a way to prop up your Kindle. I use this gooseneck stand by Magipea. It’s super easy to use, able to clamp onto tables of any thickness. It holds Kindles securely, too, no budging if you move or bump into it. It’s down to $16.12, saving you 46% off and $13.87.
I found plenty more Kindle stands on sale, including one that doubles as a snack tray.

Why we like them
My favorite Kindle case is one paired with a PopSockets phone grip. If you’re using a grip on your phone, you should definitely be using one on your e-reader. A clear case is suitable for both the minimalists or the creatives who want to customize it themselves. Right now, you can grab each on sale.

Why we like it
Most of the time, I prefer not to buy books for my Kindle and instead borrow books through
Libby
. But if I do buy a Kindle book, it’s usually because it’s under $2. Amazon is always dropping prices on books, and you can often find prize-winning and bestselling titles for $2 or less.
