I’ve Rounded Up All of the Best Black Friday OLED TV Deals From LG, Samsung, and Sony

By Eric November 30, 2025

As we approach the holiday season in 2025, OLED televisions are making headlines with their unbeatable image quality and significantly reduced prices, particularly during Black Friday sales. Major brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic are offering some of the best deals of the year, making it an excellent time for consumers to invest in high-end TVs. OLED technology stands out for its remarkable capabilities, including near-infinite black levels and rapid response times, which enhance the viewing experience for everything from streaming 4K HDR content to playing the latest video games. The trend this year is towards larger screens, with many shoppers moving from 55-inch models to 65-inch and even 77-inch options, reflecting a growing desire for immersive viewing experiences.

Among the standout offers, the LG Evo C5 4K OLED TV is particularly praised for its gaming performance, utilizing LG’s advanced Evo panel to provide brighter images and a wider color spectrum. Similarly, Samsung’s S90F 4K QD-OLED TV competes closely with LG’s offerings, featuring a quantum dot OLED panel that enhances brightness and color depth. Panasonic’s Z85 4K OLED Fire TV is also noteworthy, returning to the market with a focus on high-end features, including a native 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports, making it an excellent choice for gamers. Sony’s Bravia XR8B, designed to complement the PlayStation 5, supports multiple HDR formats and boasts impressive audio capabilities, further solidifying Sony’s reputation in the premium TV market.

For those looking to upgrade their home entertainment systems, it’s crucial to prioritize features that enhance gaming performance, such as native 120Hz refresh rates and HDMI 2.1 inputs. These specifications ensure that consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can deliver stunning visuals at high frame rates, maximizing the gaming experience. As the market evolves, consumers are encouraged to consider not just the size of their new TV, but also how well it will serve their needs in the long run. With the current discounts and a plethora of options available, now is the perfect time to invest in an OLED TV that will provide exceptional performance for years to come.

Without a doubt OLED technology offers the best image quality you can find in a consumer TV and fortunately, OLED TV prices have dropped significantly in 2025. For Black Friday, OLED TVs from the biggest brand names – LG, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic – have dropped to the lowest prices of the year. Some of these deals may continue through the Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday, but certainly not all of them.
LG Evo C5 4K OLED TV Deals for Black Friday
LG’s OLED TVs have been our
favorite TVs for console gaming
for three years running. The 2025 C5 uses LG’s proprietary Evo panel, which is significantly brighter and offers a wider color gamut than traditional W-OLED TVs. Aside from higher production costs, there’s no downside to this technology
Samsung S90F 4K QD-OLED TV Deals for Black Friday
The S90F is the current generation (2025) model in Samsung’s S90 OLED TV lineup. Compared to LG’s TVs, the Samsung S90F would be comparable to the LG Evo C5. It’s equipped with a quantum dot OLED panel, which is only found in Samsung’s higher end TVs. QD OLED TVs are brighter and have a wider color gamut than traditional W-OLED TVs.
Panasonic Z85 4K OLED Fire TV Deals for Black Friday
Panasonic is a well-known brand with a solid TV history. Although they had been out of the game for a while, they’ve recently returned, targeting the higher-end market with Mini-LED and OLED offerings. Buydig is a reputable, established online retailer. The Panasonic Z85 TV uses a W-OLED panel so image quality is comparable to the Samsung S85F, Sony Bravia 8, and LG B5 models. It’s also an excellent future-proof
gaming TV
because it has a native 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports.
Sony Bravia XR8B 4K OLED TV Deals for Black Friday
Are you a staunch Sony loyalist? I can’t blame you. After all, they are the company behind the PlayStation 5 console, so it stands to reason Sony TVs would make a great complement to the console (and it’s true). The Sony Bravia XR8B is a 2025 release that replaces last year’s XR8. It uses a W-OLED panel so image quality is comparable to Samsung’s S85F and LG’s B5 OLED TV models. The Bravia 8 supports

HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision video formats and Dolby Atmos and DTS audio.
Samsung S90D 4K QD-OLED TV Deals for Black Friday
Woot! is offering the 77″ Samsung S90D 4K OLED Smart TV for $1,497.99 and the 65″ model for $1,079.99. Woot! is owned by Amazon, so Amazon Prime members get free shipping on this order. If you’re not a Prime member, don’t fret, because shipping only costs $6. These are brand-new units with a full one-year Samsung warranty. The Samsung S90D is last year’s model, which isn’t much different from this year’s S90F model. Like the S90F, the S90D is equipped with Samsung’s superior quantum dot (QD) OLED panel with a native 144Hz refresh rate.
If You’re Looking for a High-end TV, Go With OLED
Compared to any other type of TV, OLED TVs boast superior image quality thanks to their near-infinite black levels, near-infinite contrast ratio, and near-instantaneous response times. This is easily the best type of TV for streaming 4K HDR content in its intended glory. OLED TVs have also been our
favorite TVs for console gaming
because nearly all of them feature a native 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 inputs for running PlayStation 5 games in 4K at up to 120fps.
Size Matters, Get the Biggest TV You Can Afford
This year, shoppers are trending towards bigger TVs. Everyone who’s purchased a 55″ TV in the past is probably now looking to upgrade to a 65″ TV, and even 77″ TVs are becoming increasingly more common. Manufacturers are aware of this trend and I expect the biggest price drops to happen in the 60″ to 77″ size range.
If you’re looking to upgrade, my advice is to get the biggest TV that can still fit in your intended space and is within your budget. One of the main reasons why people choose to upgrade is to get a bigger TV, and a larger TV will be more future-proof down the road. TV technology moves at a relatively slow pace and chances are if you’re happy with the image quality of your TV right now, you’ll probably also be fine with it for the long haul. But size is a different matter.
Gamers Should Look for TVs With These Features
If you have a current generation console like a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, you’ll want to make sure that your new TV has
both
a native 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 inputs. These are necessary to run games in 4K at up to 120fps. Even in 2025, there are quite a few budget TVs that don’t have these features, so make sure you do your due research. If you’re a gamer, it is definitely worth it to splurge a little more on a TV that can run your games to their fullest potential.
Despite being a current generation console, the
Nintendo Switch 2 has lax TV requirements
compared to the PS5 or Xbox Series X. When the Switch is connected to its dock and a television, it is only capable of outputting a 4K resolution signal at up to 60 frames per second. It can go up to 120fps if the resolution drops to 1080p, but the data rate required for both these options is pretty much the same, and you would much rather play any game in 4K.
