By Eric November 27, 2025

Colombia has officially entered the global music landscape with the launch of its own Billboard chart, the Billboard Colombia Hot 100, which debuted on October 29, 2023. This significant milestone highlights the country’s rich musical diversity and its growing influence in the global music industry. The chart is updated weekly and is based on comprehensive data collection that includes radio airplay and streaming metrics, sourced from Luminate, a leading data analytics service, and supported by ACR Decibeles, Colombia’s premier radio monitoring service. This collaboration allows for real-time analysis of the most popular tracks across various platforms, including radio, television, and digital streaming.

At the forefront of the inaugural chart are two hits from Colombian artist Blessd. His track “YOGURCITO REMIX,” featuring an impressive lineup that includes Anuel AA, Yan Block, Luar La L, Kris R., and ROA, has claimed the top spot, while “Como Oreo,” featuring Fuerza Regida and Ovy On The Drums, follows closely in second place. Other notable entries include “Quédate” by Beéle at No. 3, “Dónde” by Kapo and Ryan Castro at No. 4, and “Ba Ba Bad Remix” by Kybba, Sean Paul, Ryan Castro, and Busy Signal at No. 5. This diverse range of genres reflects the eclectic musical landscape of Colombia, which spans cumbia, salsa, vallenato, and more contemporary pop influences, showcasing the nation’s vibrant cultural heritage.

The Billboard Colombia Hot 100 not only serves as a platform for celebrating Colombian music but also aims to provide valuable insights into the trends and cultural phenomena that are shaping the industry. According to Billboard, this chart is an essential tool for artists, producers, and industry professionals, fostering a deeper understanding of the market dynamics within Colombia’s music scene. By shining a spotlight on both local and international artists, the Billboard Colombia Hot 100 is set to play a pivotal role in elevating Colombia’s status on the global music stage, further enriching its already dynamic and diverse musical identity.
