I’ve said it before, but the
basic Kindle
is my pride and joy, and I annoyingly recommend it to everyone I talk to. I
projected
it would drop to $79.99 for Black Friday, and I’ve never been so pleased to be right. That’s $30 cheaper than usual and its best price to date. The basic Kindle is the most compact Amazon e-reader — it’s small enough to slip into my purse — and has the same screen resolution and paper-like display as its more expensive sibling. The only downside is it’s not waterproof, so just be extra careful when reading near water.
