Benny Blanco’s Mom Had to Hide in Her Bathroom During Scary Home Invasion
In a shocking turn of events, Sandra Levin, the mother of renowned music producer Benny Blanco, was the victim of a frightening robbery attempt at her home in Studio City, California. The incident occurred earlier this week when two intruders broke into her residence through a shattered sliding glass door while she was home alone. Fortunately, Levin was unharmed, but the experience was undoubtedly traumatic. According to reports from ABC7 and NBC 4, Levin took swift action by barricading herself in the bathroom and dialing 911 after hearing the suspects enter her home. As the intruders moved through the house, she could hear them upstairs, and when she cautiously peeked out, they spotted her and fled the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed the details of the break-in, although they did not initially identify Levin as the homeowner. By the time police arrived around 9:15 PM, the suspects had already escaped, having ransacked several rooms and stolen some undisclosed items. The LAPD described the suspects as two men dressed in dark clothing and masks, but no further details about their identities or whether they were armed have been released. The investigation is now being handled by detectives, but as of the latest updates, no arrests have been made. This unsettling incident highlights the increasing concerns about home safety, especially in celebrity neighborhoods, where high-profile individuals often face unique security challenges.
While Benny Blanco has yet to address the situation on his social media platforms, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities that can exist even in seemingly secure environments. The fact that Levin was able to remain calm and take protective measures during such a harrowing experience is commendable.
