, but I’m also genuinely surprised the deal is so good. $40 off is no joke for such a good controller.

Should You Wait for Black Friday?
If you prefer the Midnight Black edition of the DualSense Edge controller, I’d say it could be worth waiting to see if it’ll drop any further, or even match the $160 pricing for the standard white version.
Otherwise, I think this is the best price we’re getting on the DualSense Edge controller, and absolutely worth picking up in the run up to the 2025 Black Friday sales. At this price, I can see this selling out before then anyway.
The only other reason to wait, in my opinion at least, is if you’re happy to wait and see if Amazon drops its legendary Amazon Resale discounts again for Black Friday. If you’re cool with an open box “Used – Like New” controller, the DualSense Edge could drop to around $125 instead. That’s a big if, though, as there’s no gurantee we’ll be seeing those kind of discounts again for the rest of year.
