Reliability and ease of use
iRobot Roomba scored more favorably on reliability (7.7 compared to 6.1) and ease of use (7.9 compared to 5.9) than Dyson. One respondent said of their Roomba robot vacuum, “It’s an easy-to-use, simple feature, low-end smart vacuum robot; however, that makes it desirable for a lot of people like me because it’s easier to use than complicated systems.”
Cleaning performance
Our survey found Roomba to have better cleaning efficiency among the brands (though our vacuum expert

). A survey respondent who has a Roomba commented that it vacuums well and they prefer it to using a traditional vacuum.
