AG Bondi announces DOJ investigation into Bill Clinton, other Democrats over alleged Epstein ties

By Eric November 15, 2025

In a significant development, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Friday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will launch an investigation into prominent Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton, following the release of new emails that highlight connections to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Bondi stated that Jay Clayton, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, will spearhead the inquiry, emphasizing the urgency and integrity with which the DOJ will approach this matter. This announcement comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s social media call for an investigation into various Democrats and institutions allegedly linked to Epstein, suggesting that these revelations could serve as a political weapon amid ongoing tensions between the two parties.

Trump’s social media post characterized the situation as a distraction from the Democrats’ failures, framing it as a “Russia, Russia, Russia” situation where all accusations seem to point back to the Democrats. He urged the DOJ and the FBI to investigate the relationships between Epstein and notable figures such as Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and tech entrepreneur Reid Hoffman, among others. The President’s comments were fueled by recently released emails from Epstein that allegedly reference Trump’s awareness of Epstein’s activities, suggesting a complex web of connections that could implicate multiple high-profile individuals. In a statement, JPMorgan Chase, which has been mentioned in the context of Epstein’s financial dealings, expressed regret over its previous association with him while denying any complicity in his crimes.

The release of these emails has intensified scrutiny on the relationships between Epstein and various political figures, with Democrats demanding the release of all related files from the DOJ. Oversight Committee Ranking Member Rep. Robert Garcia criticized Trump’s attempts to deflect attention from the investigation, arguing that the more Trump seeks to cover up the Epstein files, the more questions arise about the nature of his relationship with Epstein. As the investigation unfolds, it raises critical questions about accountability among powerful individuals and their connections to Epstein, a figure whose criminal activities have sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice. The political ramifications of this inquiry could be significant, further polarizing the already contentious landscape as both parties prepare for the upcoming election cycle.

“Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate
Jeffrey
