Earn 1,000 Marriott points by linking your Uber account and taking a premium ride

By Eric November 13, 2025

If you’re a member of Marriott Bonvoy and an Uber user, now is the perfect time to link your accounts and take advantage of an exciting promotion running from November 10 to November 24, 2023. This limited-time offer allows you to earn 1,000 bonus Marriott points and enter a sweepstakes to win a staggering 1 million Marriott points by simply taking a qualifying Premium ride with Uber. Premium rides include Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, and Uber Comfort, all of which must be taken within the U.S. during the promotional period. This initiative not only enhances the benefits of your loyalty programs but also provides a unique opportunity to accumulate significant rewards that can be redeemed for hotel stays, travel experiences, or other perks.

To participate, linking your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts is straightforward. Simply scan the provided QR code, tap “Link Account,” and log in to your Marriott Bonvoy account. If you haven’t linked your accounts prior to the promotion start date, you’ll be eligible for the bonus points and the grand prize drawing. It’s important to note that while you can take multiple Premium rides during the promotional period, you will only receive one entry into the contest regardless of the number of rides taken. The winners of the 1 million points will be notified by December 4, and according to TPG’s valuations, 1,000 Marriott points are worth approximately $7, making the potential prize of 1 million points worth around $7,000.

In addition to the promotional benefits, linking your accounts offers ongoing rewards. You can earn 3 Marriott points for every dollar spent on qualifying Uber Premium rides, 2 points per dollar on Reserve rides and eligible food or grocery orders to Residence Inn locations, and 1 point for each dollar spent on Uber Eats orders. Furthermore, Uber One annual plan members who link their accounts will automatically receive Marriott Silver Elite status, adding even more value to this collaboration between two major service providers. So, if you frequently use Uber for your transportation needs, linking your accounts could significantly enhance your travel rewards and experiences. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to maximize your benefits!
