This includes exploring options such as utilizing frozen Russian assets to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities, ramping up domestic defense production, and strengthening ties with the European Union. The urgency of the situation cannot be overstated; Europe must act independently to ensure that Ukraine can withstand both military assaults from Moscow and potential diplomatic betrayals from Washington. The lack of a robust and unified response from Europe could embolden Russia, making it imperative for European leaders to prioritize Ukraine’s defense and their collective security in an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.
