Netflix is winding down its DVD business after 25 years

Netflix, the streaming giant that revolutionized the entertainment industry, is officially winding down its DVD rental service, a pivotal element of its early success. Launched in 1998, Netflix began as a DVD rental platform that allowed users to order DVDs online and have them delivered directly to their homes.
