What are the Spotify Wrapped clubs? What you need to know.

By Eric December 5, 2025

Spotify has officially launched its much-anticipated Wrapped 2025, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to its users after the mixed reviews of last year’s edition. This year, the music streaming giant has revamped the experience, introducing a slew of new features designed to enhance user engagement and celebrate individual listening habits. One of the standout additions is the introduction of “Wrapped Clubs,” which offers a playful yet insightful way to categorize and showcase listeners’ musical preferences. As Spotify puts it, these clubs encapsulate the emotional qualities of a user’s year in music, reflecting the moods, genres, and styles that resonated most throughout the year.

The Wrapped Clubs consist of six distinct categories: Club Serotonin, Cloud State, Cosmic Stereo, Full Charge, Grit Collective, and Soft Hearts, each represented by a unique illustrated badge. These clubs serve as a clever means of grouping users based on their listening habits. For instance, members of Club Serotonin may gravitate towards uplifting tracks, while those in Cloud State prefer more tranquil melodies. Full Charge is for the party enthusiasts, while Soft Hearts caters to the sensitive listeners. Alongside these clubs, Spotify assigns users specific roles that reflect their contributions to the collective vibe of their chosen club. This feature not only personalizes the experience but also encourages users to embrace and share their musical identities, akin to being sorted into a house at a magical academy.

In addition to the clubs, Wrapped 2025 is packed with various updates designed to enhance user experience, making it a more engaging and interactive platform. Spotify’s commitment to listening to user feedback is evident in this year’s overhaul, which aims to create a more meaningful connection between users and their music. The new features, including the fun badges and club dynamics, not only celebrate the diversity of musical tastes but also foster a sense of community among listeners. As users dive into their Wrapped experience, they are encouraged to wear their badges with pride and share their unique musical journeys, making Wrapped 2025 a celebration of personal expression through music.

Spotify Wrapped 2025
is here
— and we’ve all got badges.
Spotify noticed
the underwhelming reviews
for last year’s Wrapped and jam-packed its latest offering with features and updates. We’ve got you
covered on all those details at Mashable
. But perhaps the most prominent of those updates are the new clubs in 2025 Wrapped. You might be confused about what those things actually are, but we’ll explain.
What are the Wrapped clubs and roles?
In short: The clubs are a clever, cute way to group your musical taste.
“Clubs show off your listening style in a whole new way,”
wrote Spotify
on a page explaining the clubs. “Your Club captures the emotional qualities of your year in music. That includes the moods, genres, and musical terms that defined what you listened to most.”
The six clubs are: Club Serotonin, Cloud State, Cosmic Stereo, Full Charge, Grit Collective, and Soft Hearts. They each come with a cool, illustrated badge of sorts. Spotify
has further details
on the clubs, but the names are somewhat of self-explanatory. Soft Hearts (my club) are the sensitive folks, Cloud State likes peaceful music, and Full Charge loves a party, for instance.
From there, Spotify also gives you a role within the club, based on the dynamic you bring to the group. Here’s how they define those roles.

So really, the badges and roles are a fun way of letting you know the
kind
of music you’re into and how you consume it. It’s like getting sorted into a house or clique. Take your badge and wear it with pride.
