The final 3 best Cyber Monday laptop deals still alive

By Eric December 4, 2025

As Cyber Monday winds down, savvy shoppers still have the chance to score remarkable deals on laptops, with discounts that are too good to miss. After meticulously sifting through the best offers from major retailers, Mashable has highlighted three standout laptop deals that cater to various needs: the Apple MacBook Air, the Alienware 16X Aurora gaming laptop, and the Acer Chromebook Plus 516. These models not only deliver excellent performance but also come with significant savings, making them ideal choices for anyone in the market for a new computer.

First up is the **Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, M4, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD)**, available for just **$748**, a savings of **$251** off its regular price. This ultraportable laptop is praised for its lightweight design, impressive speed, and quiet operation, outperforming 83% of its competitors in testing. While the 15-inch model is recommended for most users, the 13-inch variant is perfect for college students or those seeking a more compact option. Despite being less than a year old, this model remains on sale at various retailers, including P.C. Richard & Son, making it a smart buy for anyone looking for a reliable MacBook at a reduced price.

For gamers, the **Alienware 16X Aurora** stands out as the best gaming laptop deal, priced at **$1,649.99**, a substantial **$350** off its regular price of **$1,999.99**. This mid-range powerhouse features a stunning 2.5K 240Hz matte display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, all packed into a stylish design with ample ports. The laptop’s performance is complemented by a comfortable keyboard with customizable RGB backlighting, making it a top choice for gaming enthusiasts. With lesser configurations starting at $1,299, this deal offers excellent value for gamers looking to upgrade their setup without breaking the bank.

Lastly, the **Acer Chromebook Plus 516** is highlighted as the best budget laptop deal, currently available for **$279**, which represents a **$200** discount off its original price of **$479**. This 16-inch Chromebook is noted for its superior performance compared to other budget models, featuring a vibrant 1200p display and an impressive battery life that lasts over 14 hours in testing. Weighing less than many of its Windows counterparts, the Acer Chromebook Plus 516 is not only affordable but also portable, making it an excellent choice for students or professionals seeking a reliable device for everyday tasks. Best Buy continues to offer this exceptional deal, marking it as one of the biggest discounts ever seen for this model.

In summary, whether you’re looking for a high-end MacBook, a powerful gaming laptop, or an affordable Chromebook, these Cyber Monday deals provide fantastic options that combine performance with significant savings. Don’t miss out on these limited-time offers as they continue to be available even after Cyber Monday has come and gone.

I write about all things
laptops
here at Mashable, and after spending hours digging through every major retailer’s sales this year, the absolute best discounts are lingering right into Wednesday. While the frenzy of
Cyber Monday
is over, the good news is that retailers are still sitting on a few record-low prices that are just too good to put back on the shelf.

I’ve cut through the thousands of lingering deals on OLEDs, gaming rigs, and dual-screen notebooks to bring you the final three laptop recommendations I’d happily add to my own cart right now. These models (my top picks for everyday users and the most valuable niche options) have all been tested and vetted by the Mashable team.

Why we like it
Apple’s latest
MacBook Air
is lightweight, quiet, and faster than 83% of the laptops in our entire testing database — it’s a really impressive ultraportable. The 15-inch model is my top pick for most people, but the 13-inch model is great for
college students
and other users who want something a little cheaper and more portable. Both sizes were regularly on sale on Amazon for $200 off earlier this fall, and I really didn’t think they’d get any cheaper at this point in their life cycles (considering they’re still well under a year old). Shockingly, they’re still on sale at various retailers. Right now, the
Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M4, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD)
can be found at P.C. Richard & Son for just $748. (It’s “temporarily out of stock” at Amazon.)

Why we like it
The Alienware 16X Aurora is my favorite gaming laptop for most people. It’s an excellent mid-ranger featuring a 2.5K 240Hz matte display, a satisfying keyboard with one-zone RGB backlighting, and an attractive, port-packed design. The variant I tested has a high-end Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, an RTX 5070 GPU, 32GB of memory, and 1TB of storage, and you can still get it for $1,649.99 from
Dell
(normally $1,999.99). Lesser configurations
start at just $1,299

Why we like it
This
16-incher
is my favorite Chromebook under $500. Compared to other models in its price range, it offers peppier performance, a nicer 1200p display, and a longer battery life. (It lasted just over 14 hours in our testing; most of the other budget Chromebooks we’ve tried tap out well before the 13-hour mark.) It’s also pretty sleek for a laptop of its size: Other 16-inch Windows laptops we’ve reviewed are a quarter of a pound heavier. Best Buy still has it on sale for just $279 or 42% off, which is the biggest discount I’ve personally ever seen it get.
