When is Best Buy’s Cyber Monday sale?
Best Buy kicks off its
Cyber Monday
savings event Sunday, Nov. 30; it runs for 48 hours through Dec. 1 (aka actual Cyber Monday). The company’s press release notes that “there will be limited-time deals available throughout the event,” so expect a slightly different assortment than its Black Friday sale.
Best Buy stores opened at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday, but as of Saturday, Nov. 29, stores will resume normal hours.

Best Buy doesn’t price-match competitors’ deals during Black Friday, but it will price-match itself. If something you’ve bought at Best Buy from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 and it gets cheaper during that period, you can request to have your purchase adjusted to the better price through Jan. 15, 2026. The only items that aren’t covered by this
price-match guarantee
are holiday decorations and products that come with a third-party contract (like smartphones).
Per Best Buy, “If our price goes lower during the holiday season, we’ll match it.
The Holiday Price Match Guarantee lets you shop with confidence. Most products purchased at Best Buy between Oct. 31 and Dec. 31 can be price matched through Jan. 15 with Best Buy’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee.”
For example, if you purchased a pair of
Apple AirPods Max
for $429.99 at Best Buy earlier this week, you should be able to take advantage of their new lower price of $399.99 (live as of Nov. 25).
What is Best Buy’s return policy?
Under its extended
holiday return policy
, Best Buy will accept returns for most items purchased from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 through Jan. 15, 2026. That deadline stretches to Jan. 31 for paid My Best Buy members.
Similar exclusions apply here. Holiday decorations have a 15-day return window, for one. “Activatable” devices (meaning those that come with data plans) can only be returned within 14 days, and they have a $45 restocking fee if opened. Scooters, drones, digital cameras, action cameras, lenses, projectors, fitness recovery devices, cold tubs, saunas, and special-order products have a 15% restocking fee if they’re unboxed.
