My favorite power station for camping just hit a record price for Black Friday — Save 50% on Anker Solix

By Eric November 28, 2025

This Black Friday, the Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 portable power station is making headlines with a staggering discount of $450, bringing its price down to just $349 from the usual $799. This 56% markdown marks the lowest price ever recorded for this model, making it an unmissable opportunity for anyone in need of reliable power on the go. Portable power stations have surged in popularity, not just for outdoor enthusiasts and campers, but also for everyday use in homes, especially during power outages or in spaces with limited electrical outlets. The Solix C1000 Gen 2 stands out in the crowded market, offering a blend of portability, power, and thoughtful design that caters to various needs.

The Gen 2 model of the Solix C1000 is not only lighter than its predecessor, weighing in at 24.9 pounds, but it also features a redesigned shape that enhances its portability. This makes it easy to transport from room to room during outages or to take along on trips. Users have praised the thoughtful layout of the ports, including two USB-C ports that can deliver up to 140W and five AC ports that are spaced out to accommodate bulkier devices. This design consideration is particularly beneficial for those who may need to charge multiple devices simultaneously, such as laptops and smartphones. The versatility of the Solix C1000 Gen 2 has even led users to incorporate it into their daily lives, finding it useful in various settings, such as visiting family in homes with limited outlets.

While the original Solix C1000 is still available and features a built-in lightbar, which is advantageous during power outages, the Gen 2’s lower price and improved portability make it a compelling choice for most users. With the holiday season approaching, this power station also serves as an excellent gift idea for tech enthusiasts or anyone who values convenience and reliability. As the Black Friday sale continues, securing the Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 at this record-low price could transform your outdoor adventures or provide a dependable power source during unexpected outages. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your power solutions at home and on the go!

Anker stepped up their game with this Gen 2 model of the C1000. For starters, it’s lighter than the original C1000 (which I also love, tbh). This newer model comes with a weight of 24.9 pounds which means super easy to carry from room to room during an outage. It’s only a few pounds lighter than the original model, but it makes a big difference. Anker also redesigned the overall shape on the Gen 2 which lends to its portability.
I’m also in love with Anker’s thoughtful port design on the C1000 Gen 2. Two UBS-C ports max out at 140W and all five of the AC ports are spread out enough that it should be no issue to plug in bulker items like battery rechargers.

Aside from camping and power outages, I actually find myself packing the Solix C1000 Gen 2 when I visit my parents house. Their 1950s house is low on outlets, so I pack along the power station to keep on the guest room nightstand to recharge my phone each night. In fact, it’s powering my laptop as I’m typing at my parent’s house before we dive into the Thanksgiving meal.

Really, the only reason I’d choose the original Solix C1000 over the new Gen 2 is because the older model comes with a built-in lightbar. That’s immensely useful during a power outage when you’re carrying the power station up the stairs and need some lighting to illuminate the path. However, the
Anker Solix C1000
is only on sale for $397 during Black Friday, compared to the Gen 2 sale price of $349. Unless you really want that lightbar, I’d go with the cheaper price on the Gen 2.
Before we lose this excellent discount, snag the
Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2
while it’s sitting at a record low of $349 at Amazon. This Black Friday deal could completely change your next camping trip or snagging it as a gift will earn you top marks for holiday gift-giving this year.
