Mumford & Sons Join Stacked Line-Up for BST Hyde Park 2026
Mumford & Sons fans have reason to celebrate as the beloved band announces their return to BST Hyde Park for a highly anticipated homecoming show on July 4, 2026. This performance marks a decade since their last headline act at the iconic venue, where they previously graced the stage in 2015, supporting their third album, *Wilder Mind*. Joining them for this exciting event will be the U.S. alternative rock band The War On Drugs, with additional acts expected to be revealed in the coming months. Tickets for this monumental show will go on sale on December 4 via the BST Hyde Park official website, with a presale for fans signed up to the Mumford & Sons mailing list occurring earlier that week.
The band expressed their excitement in a statement, highlighting the deep connection they have with Hyde Park, stating, “Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made.” They emphasized the significance of returning to London, their home base, with new music to share. AEG Presents CEO Jim King echoed this sentiment, noting the importance of Mumford & Sons’ previous performance at Hyde Park, which was a milestone for the BST event. The 2026 lineup is shaping up to be impressive, with other headliners including country legend Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Pitbull, Kesha, and Lewis Capaldi, making it a must-attend summer festival.
In the lead-up to this exciting summer event, Mumford & Sons are set to embark on a winter U.K. arena tour, starting with a show in Newcastle on November 29. The tour will take them through several major cities, culminating in a double-header at The O2 in London on December 10 and 11. Fans can also look forward to the release of their sixth studio album, *Prizefighter*, on February 13, 2026, featuring collaborations with artists such as Hozier and Gracie Abrams. This album follows their recent chart-topping work, *Rushmere*, released earlier this year, further fueling anticipation for their upcoming performances and new music.
