Mumford & Sons Join Stacked Line-Up for BST Hyde Park 2026

By Eric November 27, 2025

Mumford & Sons fans have reason to celebrate as the beloved band announces their highly anticipated return to BST Hyde Park next summer, marking a decade since their last headline performance at this iconic venue. Scheduled for July 4, 2026, the trio will share the stage with the acclaimed U.S. alternative rock band The War On Drugs, with additional acts expected to be revealed in the coming months. This homecoming show is particularly special for the band, who expressed their excitement in a statement, saying, “Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special.” Tickets for this monumental event will go on sale on December 4 via the official BST Hyde Park website, with a presale for fans on the Mumford & Sons mailing list scheduled for earlier that week.

Mumford & Sons last graced the BST Hyde Park stage in 2015, performing in support of their third studio album, *Wilder Mind*. Their return is not only a celebration of their musical journey but also a significant milestone for the festival, as noted by AEG Presents CEO Jim King, who emphasized the band’s impact on the event’s history. The lineup for BST Hyde Park 2026 is shaping up to be impressive, featuring country superstar Garth Brooks kicking off the festivities on June 27, followed by other major acts including Maroon 5, Pitbull, Kesha, and Lewis Capaldi. As fans eagerly await the summer concert, Mumford & Sons are also busy preparing for their winter U.K. arena tour, which kicks off on November 29 in Newcastle and includes stops in major cities before concluding with two shows at The O2 in London on December 10 and 11.

In addition to their live performances, Mumford & Sons are gearing up for the release of their sixth studio album, *Prizefighter*, set to drop on February 13, 2026. This new record promises exciting collaborations with artists like Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, and Gigi Perez, building on the success of their recent U.K. chart-topping album, *Rushmere*, released earlier this year. With a rich history of musical innovation and heartfelt performances, Mumford & Sons’ return to Hyde Park is not just a concert; it’s a celebration of their journey, their fans, and the music that continues to resonate with audiences around the world.
