**The Growing Gap in Financial Risk Management Amid Climate Change Disasters**

Innovations in data analytics, machine learning, and climate science can provide more accurate forecasts and enhance risk management strategies. Additionally, fostering collaboration among governments, private sectors, and academic institutions is essential to create a comprehensive framework that not only addresses immediate financial implications but also promotes long-term resilience. By prioritizing the integration of climate risk into financial planning, communities can better prepare for the inevitable challenges posed by climate change and work towards sustainable recovery efforts that protect both lives and livelihoods.
