DJI’s excellent Osmo Pocket 3 is over $200 off in its first sale since tariffs
In the world of compact filmmaking, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 stands out as a beloved tool for creators, offering exceptional stabilization and video quality that surpasses what most smartphones can deliver. As a regular user of this gadget for my weekly filming endeavors, I can attest to its reliability and ease of use. However, I have been frustrated by DJI’s price hikes earlier this year, which saw the Osmo Pocket 3’s price soar to $799.99 due to post-tariff adjustments. Fortunately, a recent sale has slashed prices significantly, bringing the Osmo Pocket 3 back to a more reasonable range, now available for as low as $575 at Amazon and $585 at B&H, offering discounts of $200 to $225 from its inflated price.
For those considering a more comprehensive setup, the DJI Pocket 3 Creator Combo is an excellent option, now priced at $739 across various retailers. This package includes additional accessories like a mini tripod, a battery handle, and a wide-angle lens, which enhance the filming experience. I frequently utilize the battery handle for timelapse shots and rely on the DJI Mic 2 for clear audio narration in my videos. While these sale prices are not as low as pre-tariff levels—$519 for the camera and $669 for the Creator Combo—they represent the best deals seen since April. Alternatively, for those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the Xtra Muse, a clone of the Osmo Pocket 3, is available for $500, providing similar video quality but without support for DJI’s wireless microphones.
Looking ahead, there are whispers of a potential Osmo Pocket 4, rumored to feature dual cameras, but uncertainty surrounds its release in the U.S. market, especially given DJI’s recent trend of launching products in China without global availability. As a creator, I remain hopeful for new innovations from DJI, while also appreciating the current sales that make their existing products more accessible to filmmakers like myself. Whether you opt for the Osmo Pocket 3 or the Xtra Muse, both are excellent choices for capturing high-quality footage with ease.

None of these prices are quite as low as DJI’s pre-tariff prices of $519 for the camera and $669 for the Creator Combo, but they’re the best we’ve seen since April and the first major sale on the camera.
Alternatively, if you want almost exactly the same camera without support for DJI’s wireless microphones, Amazon has the
